Maura Keller stands for service, dedication, and progress. Born in South Weymouth, Massachusetts, and residing in Fayetteville, Georgia for 28 years, Maura's life has been a testament to the power of hard work and helping others. Her story is not just of personal achievement but also of a steadfast dedication to serving her country and her community.
Enlisting in the United States Army as a Military Policewoman in 1978, Maura quickly recognized the need for change. She rose through the ranks, becoming an Officer and eventually retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Her military career was distinguished by numerous honors, including the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award, exemplifying her commitment to leadership and excellence.
Committed to Veterans
Maura's passion for service did not end with her military career. She transitioned to a role that supported the readiness of our forces as a Senior Readiness Analyst, later pursuing a path of service to others by achieving a degree in Nuclear Medicine, which allowed Maura to provide essential care to our veterans at Atlanta’s VA.
Her work with the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Healthcare System underscores her continued commitment to providing outstanding care for veterans and veteran interests.
Today, as a candidate for Georgia's 3rd congressional district, Maura is ready to bring her wealth of experience, her ability to speak truth to power, and her drive for meaningful progress to Washington, D.C. She stands firm in her commitment to advocate for economic opportunity, accessible healthcare, veterans' rights, and the safeguarding of social security.
